About the project
- Who are we?
- A small group of friends building Drawn in our spare time. No studio, no funding, no roadmap committee. The about page has the longer version of who we are and why we built this.
- Where does the Drawn idea come from?
- We grew up playing trading card games and got tired of how the digital ones treat their players — pack purchases, premium currency, FOMO events, balance tilted toward the people who pay the most. Drawn is the version of a digital TCG we wanted to play instead.
- Can I contribute with art, ideas, or playtesting?
- Yes, please. There is no application form and no portfolio review. Drop us a message on Discord or by email, tell us what you want to help with, and we will figure it out from there. Translations, rules feedback, art, and playtesting are all on the table.
Playing the game
- Do I have to pay anything to play?
- No. Drawn is free, and there is no card or pack you can only get by paying. The game runs on banner ads, optional rewarded ads, and cosmetic items. None of that touches the gameplay or your collection — it just keeps the servers paid.
- How do I get more cards?
- Open packs. Packs come from a sign-up gift, idle regeneration over time, the daily login bonus, completing daily and weekly challenges, and watching optional rewarded ads. You can also dissolve duplicate cards into crafting fragments and use those to craft a specific card you want.
- How do the rewarded ads work?
- If you want an extra pack, you can choose to watch a short ad. When the ad finishes, the pack lands in your collection. There is a per-day limit so the system stays balanced, and you can ignore rewarded ads entirely if you do not want to see any. Players who never watch a rewarded ad still get all the regular pack channels.
- Are the cosmetics pay-to-win?
- No. Cosmetics in Drawn are card backs, field skins, and profile flair. They do not change card stats, deck composition, or any gameplay mechanic. Wearing the rarest card back will not help you win a single match.
- Can I play with friends?
- Yes. You can add friends, send direct challenges for casual matches, and play AI battles together for practice. Guilds let you group up with a larger circle for shared progression and tournaments.
Account and data
- How do I change my email or password?
- From your profile page, head to the security section. You can change your password, update your email address (you will need to verify the new one), and manage your sign-in sessions there.
- Is there two-factor authentication?
- Yes. You can enable 2FA from the same security section on your profile. We support time-based one-time passwords from any standard authenticator app — Authy, Google Authenticator, 1Password, Bitwarden, anything that follows the spec.
- How do I delete my account?
- There is a self-serve account-deletion option on your profile. Once you confirm, your personal data is removed on a documented schedule and your account is fully wiped — no support ticket required, no won't-let-you-leave dance.
- Where is my data stored, and what happens to my collection if I stop playing?
- Drawn is hosted in the EU. Your account, your collection, and your battle history live there. If you stop playing, your account stays as-is — we do not auto-delete inactive accounts. If you want everything gone, the account-deletion option above does it cleanly.
Question not answered here? The contact page has email and Discord. We read everything that comes in.
